One big mess of plants!

Arrived on Thursday last, and I still can't get round to sorting them out......

I'll try again this weekend.

hey Sub...doesn't look all that bad to me! Why not give it a couple of weeks and see what the plants do before changing things around?

is that a "Rainbow" cichlid I see. I've got one and I love them they're great, how does he get along w/ the convict?

Hiya,

Yep, one lonesome Rainbow that killed his year long buddy last week! The Convict is the most accomodating little monster in the tank. Considering the adult Jade-eye has nicked his intended partner!

He is really so chilled out.

More babies in the making round the back of the bogwood though, could be some territory wars again soon.

you put live plants with convicts?

Errm, yep. :D

He has a nibble of the dwarf hair grass, and the wisteria if he 's not fed on time. But no major wrecking or digging.

But then, he's not spawned yet..................yet.

I'm obviously lucky here...

I know its a South American Cichlid tank, but need my plants too. Just have a little more clearing up to do than most....

And here is the same tank again today.

Do you think theres been enough growth?

Added two small female Convicts today aswell, just to stop the fighting..... :D

Your tank look  . Very natural and ..... loose (for the want of a better word).

:*)

Can't help the 'loose' thing!

They are tank smashers after all! They are happy. The Rainbow has grazing material, and they all have somewhere to hide.

I will have a rearrange soon. I was really looking to see what was going to 'survive' and grow first, then make it pretty later....

Thanks, Sub.
