My sailfin molly fry are now 3 weeks old and Ive been amazed at how big they have grown
Since Ive set up the fry tank Ive been saving whatever fry I can find in the livebearer tank. This means there are guppy fry in there a few days old and they are tiny by comparison.
Is there any danger of the bigger fry ever eating or tryin to eat the new born fry or am I just being stupid
It's not stupid. Usually they'll be perfectly fine. I've never had a problem. However, if it seems really out of proportion, maybe you should consider dividing the tank?
Cheers Annastasia
Hope you are feeling better
Ive had 10 of the sailfin molly fry survive and 9 of them are now silver and a few of those have little black markings.God knows who or what type daddy was as mum was green
Im cloning tank 6 at the minute and am going to rehouse some of the fish so I should have a 2ft 20 g ready for them in the next week or so if all goes well.
