Big Fish For 90g

How about an African theme tank? You could have a bichir, ropefish, a elephant nose or african knifefish and a butterfly fish or a shoal of congo tetras. You could also fit some synos in as well.

How about a Red Belly Pacu ? too big?

Far too large, they grow to 3ft long- you need to research fish a little bit more...

As asked before, what are the measurements of the tank, particularly the length and width? Tanks vary massively in size, if the tank is only 12inches wide then it doesn't matter how long it is you will only be able to have fish which grow to 8-9inches long tops depending on the fish, but if its 2ft wide then that opens up a lot more stocking options etc.

Are you planning on having any live plants in the tank? If so, then that will effect the types of fish suitable for the tank, a lot of cichlid fish will destroy live plants, but on the other hand there are a lot of fish which require planting to thrive, like gourami's and angels etc.

Yup but i need some help deciding. I like oscar but, I had that already so im not sure about that. Also i might get a pirana instead . Not sure though.

IMO pirhana are really boring and have the tendancy to take chunks out of each other when they feel like it.

Dont take this the wrong way, but 2 fish isnt research....there are hundreds if not thousands or more species of fish which range from 6-16" get a book, check websites, go into shops and see what you have locally, then come back with a list of things you saw which you liked and ask abou compatibility.

We could sit all week and rhyme of loads of fish, but at the end of the day its your tank.

The forum has a fish index with hundreds of profiles and pictures on fish if you are interested it may help your research and general knowledge on fish etc  .
