They have a max size of between 10 and 14", and you know that as well as anyone.

I myself would go for some larger predatory catfish with some oddballs/larger other fish to round out (like bush fish, predatory characins etc.).

I'm not sure where abouts you are in London, but if you can get to either Wholesale Tropicals in Bethnal Green or Wildwoods in Enfield then you'll find a vast array of potential oddballs for your tank and will be able to be given great advice by their expert staff.

Cheers.

im by heathrow so i could visit both of them quite easy thx :)

wildwoods looks great :) i will be visiting there when im ready to get stock

Make sure you read up on how to cycle a new tank, preferably via a fishless cycle, on the pinned articles on here and make sure that the filtration and heating is going to be adequate for your tank- oddballs are nice but many have special requirements in comparison to many of the ordinary fish out there, and many are difficult to stock, so make sure whatever you get whether it be an oddball fish or not that you know everything about it before you get it- this forum has a pretty good fish index for research ;) .
Are you new to fish keeping at all?
