Big Fat Molly

My black balloon Molly ( big mama) eats soooooo much and let's not talk about how much she poops!!! Iv heard she needs greens in her diet is that true? I have other fish in the tank that might eat the food so will they get sick if they eat the molly's vegetables? So if they do do I just feed her in a seperate tank??? Oh and what vegetables am I supposed to feed her?

Black mollies do need some vegetable matter in their diet. I recommend blanching some lettuce in boiling water and putting it on a veggie clip for her. You did not mention what other fish you have her with, but I feed my guppies, platies, and danios all blanched lettuce and they love it. boiled carrots are also an option, and should enhance red color in all your fish. You can also use boiled zucchini.

You can buy frozen cubes of vegetable matter for fish too, and she will probably enjoy the odd algae wafer.
