Big Bully's Gone!

Hey all, i managed to take the big bully back to the shop and they said i could buy some more fish for the same price of the big bully, so i bought 2 salvinis! So now i have 2 firemouths and 2 salvinis! They seem to be getting on well only a little bit of nipping but the firemouths seem much better now the big bully's gone!!!

That's very good but now your tank is over stocked with 4 fish that can potentially reach 6" each

Wow!! You got fish for the same price. Normally they give you fish that cost alot less. Good that he's gone!

4x6" fish in a 20 gallon does sound a bit to much though.

Just measured it for you its 4ft by 12 inches by 18 inches high.

ok, fish mania, your tank (going by those dimensions) is actually double what you thought, 44 US gallons. where did you get 20 gallons from?

I think 40 gallons will also be too little for those 4 fish once they are full size, a 60 gall should be fine for all them when they are full size

They are juveniles at the moment i am looking to upgrade my tank to a 5ft or 6ft in the next few months.

i've kept cichlids for 10 years this is my newer tank setup. I have successfully bred blue acaras!
