I just got a tank and it had one large male guppy in already,

I went and brought 4 fmales and 1 more male fot the tank,

the new smaller male is having his tail nipped and is being bullyed my the old larger male, Do you think i should seperate them as i have a large tank downstairs with non in

Hi,
how big is the tank they are in?
as with all livebearers you need 2-3 females per male, males can be agressive to each other and will sometimes fight, have they got places to hide? keep an eye on them if the bully wont stop moving him to the other tank you have sounds like a good idea.
