Fish Addict
I'm not sure of the specific supplies used but the fish are usually sent Next Day/Overnight or Priority so they get to their destination within a day or two.

Many of the fish in the lfs are selling fish that have been shipped much farther then one state to another.willywonka099 said:how in the world would they not die ?!?!?!?!?

30$ + 15$ express shipping i mean if they were as beautiful as the ones in this forum aybe but still ........ Usually the betta is places in a plastic bag with a couple of inches of water (they need lots of air on top to breathe), which is then tied or sealed in some other way. Depending on where the fish is travelling to, a heat pac may be added. Then, the fish is placed in a styrofoam box with some type of packing material inside to steady the fish. Then into the cardboard box, to the post office or to ups or whatever, where it is labelled as live fish, or live animals, or something to that nature.
