Hey guys. I know its been a while since I posted and I recently lost some fish and bought some new ones. My bichir was as happy as can be, its been in my tank for about a month now and its usually very active/swimming up and down the glass on my tank. I was worried that it had died (sometimes dead fish get pushed under my large rock shelter) so I immediately checked there and my bichir swam out. But I looked and a minor lump is in the middle of his belly. He is so much less active and is hanging around at the bottom. Please help, I love this little baby to bits!

EDIT :

I forgot to mention I have gravel in my tank. My father suggested he possibly ate a pebble but I doubt it. Though is it possible?

fish eat all sorts so you never know..can you get a pic?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Try some peas to see if he can flush the pebble out of its that.
The lump is it hard of soft looking with fluid.
Is the lump smooth or look like a cauliflower.
