Those are really impressive fish those Bichirs know who's boss!

I really like the Arrowanna, too. How much did you pay for that big sucker? A couple thousand bucks? I've heard they can can run up to and including $50,000

What dimensions of tank are they in? It looks a little small, but all of the fish look accomodated.

The tank is 6X2X2, not the fishes permanent home. When the time comes i will gladly upgrade to a monster tank.

I actually acquired the RTG from a fellow hobbyist who could not care for it anymore, it pays to know the right people . RTGs here retail anywhere from $1000-$1500 for a 6"er.

A 55g is 4 feet long but only 12" wide, so you would be limited to the smaller species, maybe 2 or 3 max. P. senegals, p. palmas polli, p. palmas buettikoferi, p. mokelembembe just to name a few species.
