Hi, my tap KH is 1/2dH, i just tested the tank i am cycling (100L) and it tests at 1dH for some reason. For this tank i am getting T5 lighting (will be about 3WPG) and CO2 either via a pressurized canister or a nutrafin setup. The problem is that with a KH this low and the addition of CO2 my PH will plummet and become very unstable. For the Nutrafin CO2 i know i can put a 1/2 tsp of Bicarb in with the yeast solution to act as a stabilizer.
My question is how much and how often will i need to add bicarb in a 100 litre tank with 25ppm of PRESSURIZED CO2, 3WPG and a KH of under 1dH?
