bi-carb is this just plain baking soda?

is bicarb just regular old baking soda? im gonna try a homemade mixture and im on my way to the store to pick up yeast may or maynot use the bi-carb according to gf22s post but i was wondering if its the samething? thanks

Well im sure your persistance will pay off, i had to do several mixes in the beginning to get it right, its not easy sometimes, just try and remember how much you are adding, so when you do get it right, you can repeat it next time.

Btw your tank looks very good, i seen the pic in the other thread.
