I saw my BGK last night and his tail has gotten bitten off (about 1/4 inch) most likely from the new senegal bichir cuz thats the only tank mate. I have no idea what to do.

Well i notice thats its been out more even when the tank lights r on it swims it eats, but its always in its cave. So this is unusual behavior, sometimes i see it laying on the ground also.

So this is what ive done, i did about 30% water change. And i add 15mL. of this thing called stress coat cuz i read the back and it said helps heal injury so i did a lil dose of that.

Anything else i should do? Thanks in Advance.

Melafix, you might have to see if you can rehome one of them, good luck.

I would suggest melafix too, anything that doesn't have a salt content.

Also, I would put one of the fish in another tank as if it's happened once it can happen again.
