better picture of my Yaoshania pachychilus, today...

on the front glass eating breakfast this morning... I just missed a picture of this guy and a cherry shrimp next to each other... they are nearly the same size...

supposed to be in the loach family, common name is panda loach...

2 more arrived today, at least as small as the 1st one... hoping they do as well...

and 10 more blue neo shrimp, to add to the the few, in the breeder tank

grabbed this shot, this morning... all 3 baby panda loaches... 1st time I've seen all 3 at the same time.

good to see they are all surviving...

I'm really surprised at how hardy these tiny fish have been for me... they are the smallest fish in the tank, but seem to be thriving in the conditions of my Hillstream tank, even though each has looked emaciated when they arrived... the bigger fish in this tank leave them alone, and they roam around the tank freely... the 1st one I got, is 3-4 times bigger than when it arrived... they seem very independent, though I think I had read they should be in groups... I see all 3 of them this morning, though they are spread out over the whole tank..

ok, I think one of these 3 is not a Yaoshania pachychilus... the new one pictured on the bamboo above... and in these 3 pictures, is not like the other 2, which are vividly vertically striped... thoughts as to what this is??? it's still very tiny, but growing like the other 2, just doesn't look the same...
