Bettas!

im gona divide my 10gal, and get 2 females. but my filter is pretty powerful, so im gona move it to the other side of the divider. would this work? also, do betta need a certain temp? thnx! -heart , ally86ozzy

i might be wrong, but the way i read your post you say you are going to put 2 females together in one divided off section of tank. is this correct? if so then please don't!

female bettas (if kept together) need to be kept in groups of 4 MINIMUM to cut down on aggression, in fact the more fish the better, as long as the space allows for it. as i added more fish to my tank the less damage i got

UGH..... confusing. Fine how bout this, i get 1 betta and put it in 1 section of my 10 gallon tank. OH WAIT! I HAVE AN IDEA! I hav another 10gal tank being cleaned out currently (we started cleaning it out yesterday) but i hav a pregnant mosquitofish in my other 10gal. ill buy a divider and put her on the other side away from the male mosquitofish when she gives birth, then move her back 2 the other side away from the fry. then when my other 10gal is clean ill buy 5 or so female betta and put them in there! Good idea? plz reply. -heart , ally86ozzy
