Keep your chin high FM canadian buddy. I keep my bettas in 1 gallon bowls and i think thats plenty of space. Your comparison pictures of the various jars should've helped ppl understand you've given them quite an upgrade(not a degrade) in space to those bettas new homes. I support you trying to constantly rescue bettas. I would do the same if my life wasnt so busy. I'm sorry the forum has let you down, but still stick aorund b/c most of the ppl here really enjoy your company, excellent quality pictures and your example of how to keep well kept, clean and decorated tanks.

they are yellow labs arashi.

the pic is cute. was going to post a counter pic of the bettas under the cichlids. would of meant moving the lower tank on the stand, moving some of the bettas to the lower shelf, finding the camera, finding an empty disc......

by that time i was so tired just thinking of it i took a quick nap!

It's funny that these are such horrible betta home and STILL they have bubble nests going. FYI, most of the males in these jars are missing half of their fins and are currently being medicated....AND making bubble nests.

About cooling it on the thread, I doubt that will happen. As for all of you who don't want to give this up.....bring it I am MORE than happy to put you in your place.

wow. after reading this... i nearly ####e myself. FM, i have always tried to mimic your practices in both fish keeping and and aquascaping. It was your tanks that prompted me to be a member here in the first place. Your fish, tanks, and techniques have always been of the highest quality. I am getting very tired of this becoming a UKvUS debate. I think anyone here with an ounce of sense has realised by now what a ridiculous assumption of CFC's post that is. I did not wish to post here again, but I cannot stand by and let such narrow-minded views go around.

It is not a bully-ground. Things had started to become peaceful again until you started.
