Bettas In Minimalist Setup Ok?

Some one is using an avatar showing a betta in a tank, with just two large pebbles maybe a fake plant, is this bare setup ok for them?

They tend to prefer to have things that intrest them as they are very inquisitive,

But it's not wrong, just how that person may want to set up their tank.

it would be fine. if he seems bored with it, change/rearrange the decorations every few day or whenever you do a waterchange...it will keep things interesting
i know it seems silly that these fish get bored but they honestly do!
