My male betta fish- Kenni- has a bad eating habit.
He will only eat when I can't see him.
I know he's eating because he poops. But I get mad because it's much harder cleaning the tank with the food that I have to leave that casually sinks to the bottom. I'm also worried that he might eat too much but that's not my biggest worry. I don't have the time to clean the tank everyday.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

I'd probably fast him for a couple of days then try feeding him a little and see if he takes it. A day or so with no food will probably make him quite keen next time you feed him :)

Well, I usually skip a day every week (somebody told me to, should I be doing this?)...
and he doesn't really care :/

Put a little dish in the tank and drop his food onto that. You'll be able to see what's there or what's been eaten clearly. He'll get used to looking for food on the dish, too.

well maybe it just wants some privacy I mean their alive and have
feeling too. :fun: (I'm most likly wrong but give it a try. I know close to
nothing on this stuff)
