Betta's Back Bending?

Hello! I'm Ali, and I have a betta named fishie (original, huh?) Anyways, I've had him since I was 9, I'm 13 now and he's 4 so he's kinda old...he lives in a 5 gal. with a filter...my room is always about 78-80 degrees so I felt no need to get a heating fixure...but, recently, his back is started to bend/have a krick in it...what on earth is happening? It's not like he's cramped...so why is this happening?

The spine can bend in old age just keep an eye on him.
If he looks in pain I think I would end his misery so sorry.

4 years! thats a great age for a betta, as wilder sed its probably just his age

does he seem to stuggle when swimming at all?

yup it'll just be old age, betta's usually only make 2/3 so 4 is a really good age for him.

just have to do what you can to make him comfortable for the remainder of his days and be satisfied that you must have given him a very good home and all teh care he needs for him to get to such a good age.
