bettas- again

i just read petco’s info about bettas. they say they are community fish. yikes from what i’ve learned here, that’s wrong right?
living in a small rural town leaves me no in store option but Petco. any comments about getting a betta from Petco?
if i had 100 tanks i’d rescue all those poor bettas in plastic cups

Petco is much better that Petsmart. I have 9 bettas and one of my favorite came from Petco.

as far as i know they can put in community tank (but not all fish is compatible with betta), but you cant put 2 male bettas in 1 tank, however you could put several female bettas in the same tank.

but then again every betta have different personality so 1 betta might be fine in community tank and the others will attack everything that moves.

thanks - welcome new member you are right about every creature having a different personality. i have birds too and they are individuals for sure.
