Any chance you could get a pic of that tail flaring? It's hard to tell from these pics, but he looks like he might have a delta tail spread. Beautiful betta, by the way.

Looks like a combtail to me.

as julie said a flare would make it easier to tell but i think that it could be a delta or a comb tail
