In my 64l tank, my betta isn't well it lives with rummy noses (could this be an issue) and 2pandas.

Its had whitespot so i treated for that, then i noticed it had fin rot type issue,- Look at pic. All Colours a real(apart from black outline), so it has this red outline bit where the "rot" as happened

The Nitrite is a bit high and so is the Ph 7.5 i did a 30% water change, and also added some fin rot medication in and put the air pump up. Any Advice?

Tha tank has about 5-8 real plants

What med did you use?
When you say the nitrite is a bit high, what level are you talking?
Is there any chance he or one of his tankmates is biting his tail?

Ive never seen it happen, and the don't take in any interest of each other, i don't really own this tank but look after it,Im not sure about the med, but the nitrite was pink  and i can't remember but ill check tomorrow,

The tank has about 5-8 real plants in it.

so far youve done the right thing..test,waterchange, meds, up the air. now just wait and see.
keep in mind he may be biting his own tail, so watch for that too.
best of luck!
cheers

Try putting a mirror up against his tank so if he is bored or aggressive he'll just flare at his reflection rather than bite his tail if that is the problem.
The tail should heal up nicely providing you keep the water in the tank clean and keep an eye out for any signs of infection.

Was the medicine you used Melafix by any chance?

Ive tried that, he did a little bit, but most of the time just bored, The meds were in a blue bottle,

Whitespot and bad water quality can cause finrot.

Black linning to fins can be ammonia burns that are healing.

I did have high-ish levels of ammonia a week or so ago, forgot about water changes for a few weeks

I've got some melafix and that is in a bigish blue bottle. If it is melafix be careful because some some people have found their betta don't react well to it. Just keep an eye on him in general to make sure his health is ok and that his fins are getting better. Whilst his fins are healing keep a close eye on your water quality to give him the best shot at healing quickly.
I've been in your situation myself mate.

Anyway fingers crossed for your little guy and I hope he makes a speedy recovery :good:
