Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):happy, displays makes bubble nests for me, he is red, His fins are not flowing anymore, they are tight and the ends are losing all color

Volume and Frequency of water changes:1/2 once a week with distilled

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:cell food.....all natural enzimatic vitamin mineral mix

Tank inhabitants:1 betta

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):a water plant that did not sprout

Distilled water on its own will be bad for the betta. If you want to use distilled mix it with tap water about a third tap water. The distilled is pure water with no minerals not good for fish, you would probably be better with dechlorinated tap water. If you have just been using distilled then gradually change the water over a few days with tap water. The temperature may also be an issue, if you don’t have a heater, too much fluctuation is not good, they need the temperature pretty constant. Also if you don’t have a filter there may be ammonia or nitrate stressing the fish.
