i don't want you to take my word as law because it's possible your fish is actually sick, but make sure he really is before you medicate him because bettas, especially the boys, are notorious pouters when it come to water changes and changes of residence. It's just something to keep in mind.

thanks everyone, he is fine now, te hunch is gone, and the filtered water has done wonders to him. of course i healed him not my sis
