Betta Won't Eat Nothing But Frozen Foods

Well I thought he was eating is betta pellets but he won't touch them not even flake so what should I do i tried only feeding him the pellets but after a week of him not eating them I got worried so just put him back on the bloodworms and brineshrimp I'm just worried he won't get a healthy diet just eating that what should I do so he can eat healthy or is it not a problem feeding him that all the time ??

There are a few things you could try, to get him onto pellets.

Don't feed for a couple of days to get him hungry then:

Soak them in mushed up bloodworm for a while before hand or in garlic juice.

Try crushing the pellets slightly before feeding. Some younger Bettas can struggle with full sized pellets.

i had a similar problem with a smaller sized new guy...ALL he would eat was bloodworms. definately keep trying to offer different things (flakes or smaller pellets) before you feed him the "good stuff"... i fed him twice a week bloodworms, but every day (Sometimes twice a day) would offer flake or pellets...i also tried soaking them in garlic and in bloodworm juice, to no avail...after almost a month, he finally got the hang of eating flakes (i just kept trying and trying...)...now for the pellets!

My betta eats only frozen foods...beef heart, brine shrimp, and blood worms. I feed him a pea 3x/week. This has been his diet since I got him 7 months ago. Mine is very happy and healthy. I've never had a health problem with him.

My betta goes through stages on only eating frozen foods and peas.

He will then eat pellets / tetra prime / betta flakes etc for a while then stop eating them again.

When he shared the tank with my corys he specialised in eating their food.
