Honeythorn Sugar coating and nicely nicely? I don't think so Joined Mar 10, 2008 Messages 2,313 Reaction score 1 Location Stourbridge UK Aug 13, 2009 #2 NO. A turtle will require different water conditions to a betta, and even a small species will most likely eat your fish. Also, "sucking" catfish like Plecs require a lot of space. Most plecs require at least 55 gallons, usually a lot more. Your betta is best off in a 5 gallon+ tank on it's own.
