I have a 10 gallon tank with 3 oto's a betta and an appple snail. About a week ago one of my otocinclus got ich.I took out my betta and transfered him to a different tank because I didn't want him to catch it too. In the oto tank, I turned up the temperature to 86*F and the spots disappered. It is still at 86*F just to make sure they are all dead. I also did a 50% water change 2 times. They are healthy now. But the betta that's in a different tank now has ich. I can't turn up the temperature in this tank because the heater is cheap and just keeps it on 78*F. Should I move the betta back to the original tank to kill the ich, will that risk infecting my oto's? I don't want to use store bought meds because they only work at the free form swimming stage of the disease. I don't want anything to die. Please help! Thank you
