Tank size: 6 US gallons
pH: 8.1
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 15
tank temp: 78 F

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
He's a betta, the scales on the top of his body have been scraped upwards in a couple spots, it looks like he wounded it somehow. They're a little reddish and inflamed, and there's some white tufts coming out of both wounds. He also has some pinholes in his fins that I'm pretty sure is fin rot. He is swimming fine, he doesn't seem to be resting excessively and his fins aren't clamped or anything. He ate yesterday but won't eat today. He was just shipped so these symptoms must be a result of increased stress, and I'm assuming the injuries are too.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 30% weekly

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Just regular filter media, I put aquarium salt in and treated him with Jungle fungus eliminator because of the fin rot and the white tufts, although I didn't see the abrasions because of poor lighting until today, so now I'm not sure if I should treat him with something different.

Tank inhabitants: Just the one betta

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): none

Exposure to chemicals: none that I can think of

Digital photo (include if possible): no camera :(

Siounds like he has septicemia on top which is hard to cure once is advances.
Are you sure the scales have stuck up because of a wound and its not dropsy.
What does fungus eliminator treat.

I've been treating him with the Fungus Eliminator and Aquarium Salt for 4 days now and I did a partial water change like the instructions say on the bottle. Fungus Eliminator contains: Nitrofurazone, Furazolidone, and Potassium Dichromate. According to the company it is: An effective anti-protozoan, antibacterial treatment that is highly effective against a wide variety of diseases including fungus, grey slime, dropsy open sores, bloody spots and streaks, fin and tail rot, cloudy eyes and swim bladder disease.
I've only ever used it for fin rot, which it has worked very well for.
I'm quite sure its not dropsy, the scales were raised only in that spot, and they've since flattened out. The wounds on top of him look like they're healing, one is healed and the other is no longer red, it just has some white stuff sticking out. His fin rot looks a little worse, he's got bits of red on the tips of his fins now, although it's also possible he's biting at his fins. Otherwise his behavior is good, swimming normally and doesn't seem depressed or anything.
If it is septicimia how do you treat it? is there any other medications I should be giving him?

The med sounds like it treats septicemia anyway.
Keep going iwth the med. Don't cut the med course to short.
Good Luck.
