Betta With Bubble Over One Eye

Hey! I have a friend that has a betta with a bubble over one of his eyes. My friend said that he looked it up and from what he's read, it's a type of fungus. As this is not my fish, I have no pictures. If someone could get back to me ASAP about what this might be and what treatments would be necessary, that would be great. Thanks!

It's probably pop eye but if a pic is provided it would help so much! it's easily cured, if so

My friend said he got some medication at a trustworthy LFS, so he should be okay for now! Thanks!
