I was wondering if there are cases where bettas do not attack amano shrimp. I have my betta in a 5.5 gallon tank with an oto and he doesn't bother my oto at all. I would think there is enough cover for them from the plants and was wondering if it would be ok to try it?

Thanks :good:

p.s. by the way, my oto's buddy didn't make it from the store, haven't gotten another one yet.

i had my betta w/ a reallly small ghost and they wre fine

usally the betta wont bother with the shrimp, if he does eat it, its only a few coins lost and a leson learnt, no more shrimp for your betta.i would recomend buying another ottos while your down at the fish shop too to replace the one you lost.

Ok thank.

Yes I'v been toying with the idea of buying another oto, might get two or three and put some in my other tank to up the amount in there, not sure yet. :good:
