Just to prove that stereotypes don't stand up in the animal kingdom either, when I added five panda cories to my 10 gallon the other day (with betta, Delirium), he started following them around like he was shoaling with them. There's no aggression or nipping--he's just curious. I just caught him sitting on an anubias leaf with with a cory, trying to nibble algae. I've never seen him so cheerful and active.
 
now that is cute, i had a female hang with the cories all the time, she used to lead them around the tank :lol:
 
My betta, Flare would school with my Harlequins. It was so funny to see this big ol blue betta in the middle of these little fish.
