Betta Tankmates

I'm looking for some tankmates for my Betta. I have a 27L tank. I don't want any livebearers - have enough of those in my other tanks!

I have thought about shrimp and cories. I don't know what shrimp look like, so could I have some photographs and information?

I have also thought about a few small Plecs. Thoughts?

Odther suggestions are welcome.

pitbull plecos only grow to 7cm
danios make good tank mates i've found, harlequin rasboras very very peaceful, white cloud mountain minnows and cories as you said too!

Although beware not every betta appreciates tank mates and may attack anything added with it, so be prepared to have a backup just incase....spare tank or tank divider!

Thanks! I don't like danios but cories, white clouds, harlequins and shrimp sound good.
