probably asked alot i know, i have a 3g (12inchesx6inchesx6inches) planted tank with my betta. it has a light, filter and it kept at around 74 f.

i'm looking for a list of betta tankmates in this size tank,

i've come up with most small shrimp (depending on the betta), ADF's, snails and pygmy cories. now i would like a few more to add to the list so i can look into adding something to the tank.

second question is how do i lower the flow rate on my fluval 1? it's to strong normally and i tried putting sponge in front of it but then it hardly worked at all. it's now sort of half covered by sponge so the water goes upwards but it is still to strong any suggestions on how i can sort of stop the high flow rate but still keep some water movement?

cheers for all help in advance.

Your tank is pretty much already full with just a betta in it. Your options for tankmates really are a shrimp or two (that could become a betta snack), snails or an ADF.

yeah i've come to that now aswel. anyway everything i've asked is resovled hopefully as i'm not getting any more fish or the inverts etc except i few snails in the near future. and my filter problem will be sorted this week as i will get a spray bar for it.

i went with the spray bar as it looks better in my planted tank i would think, i'm still looking for more plants if anyone can help me? now after bushy plants and floating plants(not duckweed).

:good:
