Betta Tank..

My new HM Betta will be in the LFS on Wednesday, and here is what he's going in:

The heater is coming in the Mail soon. Any suggestions for things to add?

looks nice! spoiled betta!!
only thing i'd add, is to make sure those "rocks" don't have any sharp edges, namely in the openings. wouldn't want your lovely betta to swim through and end up with and fin tears..........

The only sharp rock in there is that hunk of Amyhtest in the back right. Should I take that out, because Half Moons have so much finnage?

I'd suggest you do take it out. It looks nice, but your betta won't after meeting it. Bettas are like little kids, if they can find something to hurt themselves on, they well. Mine can hurt themselves in a tank with only gravel.

Lovely tank though, he'll love it.

The Betta that perviously occupied it, who's now in a 1.5g Container, had no problems with the cave, sandy substrate, and the fake plant. The smooth rocks should be allright, but I will take out the Amythist. Thanks for the comments and help!
