Betta Tank Mates?

ive got 6 black phantom tetra and 6 x-ray tetra and a plec in my 2ft tank ,i was wondering would it be possible to add a male betta to this combination,cheers in advance guys or would i get away with a couple of females

Big no no with the male and the Phantoms hun they are little buggers for nipping at fins. You could put girls with them but you would need a minimum of four girls to even out there aggression towards each other
