Betta Tank Mates - Ricefish

i only got my betta yesterday but he's perfectly happy with
5 pygmy corys , 4 reticulated corys (TEMP home) and 3 Oryzias Javanicus - (java eyed rice fish) - increasing numbers to 6 rice fish as they like being in larger groups
his tank is a 30 ltr rena - half hex , running with a stingray 5 filter and temp 26 degrees

has anyone else kept them with rice fish ?

I don't know about rice fish but it worth keeping an eye out over time to see how they get on.

When I first put my betta in with my adolphi corys they got on really well, they basically schooled together for two months.

I dont know if it was to do with the age of the betta or what but that changed. I know that alot of it it down to the individual betta but I reckon it is better to keep bettas on their own.

the reticulatus are only in there for a few weeks until the 75ltr hex is sorted
i got a rio 240,125 and 75 litre hex all for £57.99 so got big tank moves ahead of me lmao

no not yet he's still getting a feel for the tank i think
he's body is about 1 3/4 inches in length
is he fully grown ?
