Betta Substrat

Hey i live beside a river and i got some sand from there if i get rid of the impuritese and boil it can it server as my bettas substrat?Are bettas good with sand?

Do you mean substrate? Yes, you probably shouldn't even need to boil it.. I would generally give it a decent rinse, pick out anything I don't like the look of, dry it out, then whet it again and use. If you want to kill whatever is in it, I would recommend baking it over boiling, especially if the tank is quite small.

Did you mean wet? Then yes that should be fine.......
