Betta Story

I Just got home tonight at midnight, and ive been working long hours lately at work, i work in a grocery store and since the storm is coming right at us everyone is shopping alot for supplys. so im really tired and i get home and i went straight to feed my fish i have fry of all ages so i cant keep them hungry to long. so im trying to feed them bbs and i looked over at my 1 gallons and noticed that i was missing one. so i walked over was thinking"wheres my fish?" and i took a STEP backwards to look down and found him! he was stuck to my sock. he was half dryed and fully squisheded. so i just took off my sock and threw it away...


so make sure you check your lids after feeding while your late for work in the morning! and dont be lazy about it or you will lose one of you favorite fishes.!


RIP....




he was a fighter, at least he left me with 2 spawns, one with 50 and one with 100.

Shame about your loss, I did that with my prize killi fish shortly after I started, worse thing was he jumped out whilst I was there and then was a fresh squish so his death was quick.

thats not nice...sorry about your loss. I am paranoid about the lids. Went to an aquatic shop yesterday they have a betta in a cube..the chap says they dont jump! grrrr!
