Betta Setup?

the plants need to be silk or live, some floating amazon frogbit, a coconut cave and i would change the sharp rock things to gravle or sand

you cant do this with a biorb unless you switch to a different internal filter.

I can't have live plants in there, or did you mean changing the rocks? Because I've had live plants in there before....

he meant keep the jagged rock. it has more surface area than smooth for bacteria to colonize. im sure that would be a fine substrate as long as it isnt needle like
i assume thats what you meant Truck...not that you cant have plants  and i dont know if a coconut cave would fit in a biorb. id leave the internal filter that came with it(its just like a sponge/bubble filter and produces little current...little current=must have for most bettas. live plants are best...dont buy plastic as someone else already mentioned. that thing is heated right? they need heaters. decorations is up to you...just make sure nothing to snag their long fins on.
have fun!
cheers

Ahhh okay, Well my lfs doesn't really have much of a selection of gravel, but not to far out there's a really big store that does a lot of gravel as well as everything else like decorations (I prefer not to buy my fish there because they never seem very happy, :( but the selection of tank equipment really is far superior to anywhere else locally), I'll try and get up there at the weekend and have a look for something that would be suitable :)
