Hi,

I posted yesterday about our betta that has fin rot and our use of Betta Revive.

The picture I attached was not large enough to show Betta's tail. It is basically a stub. It had white fuzz on it and I was told that it was a fungus and first used "Marycyn" and am now using "Betta Revive."

I got responses that made me think that there was a difference in "fin rot" versus "fungus."

Any thoughts on this product, "Revive"?

I am desperate to get our betta better. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

i used it when livingston got his mysterious zit. it works rather well in clearing it up. i think it works however a good round of melefix did almost the same thing, you have to wait and see what the others say.

Could you post a bigger pic? I would assume, that it is Fin and Tail Rot. If its eaten the enitre tail of the fish. I personally, think Betta Revive is sold more as a trinket, than a actual med. I would go and get something called:
Maracyrn Plus

Its a VERY effective medicine. I've used it with sucess many times. When you run the med, if you have a filter that has carbon in the filter pad, buy a new filter pad( dont put the carbon inside of it), and run it. The carbon takes the med out. Also, Fin and Tail rot is a easy fix. Not very resistant against meds.
