last night my boyfriend and i made a trip to petsmart to find him a new betta, we both agreed that we would look for one that was in need of help well we ended up finding two. one had a huge deformity on his face and the other had a sever case of tail rot. i asked to speak to the manager and explaind to her that we should get a discount on the fish with tailrot because i was going to have to pic up some medication too. she proceeded to tell me that the bettas there werent sick and that they wouldn't put the sick ones out for people to buy! 
well that was a load of crap because i had boughten 2 fish with tail rot from there, i have a female that i found there that barely had water in her leaking cup and had gill disease. and i have seen multiple fish there with deformities. i told her all of this and she eventually gave in and gave me free medication. the poor guy is in a 1 gallon tank on my desk being treated. im glad i found him when i did because he is in pretty bad condition.

well done you... tried getting a discount for poorly fish and they wont do it near me..usually say theres nothing wrong with them!
