Betta Not Swimming Around As Usuall

got Anti internal bacteria med by interpet. removed shrimp to community tank and treated fighter tank. hpoefully this will sort him out. thanks for help. will let you know his progress

Good Luck The interpet med i used on my betta for fin rot did a great job so hopefully it will work well for you.

When he's better you should run some carbon in the filter to help clear the meds from the tank before the shrimp go back in.

the shrimp wont need to go back in. new 4 foot tank has arrived and is waiting to be set up have decided to turn fighter tank into hospital/(and hopefully) fry tank and keep the rekord 70 set up which we werent going too. put the fighter in there with the shrimp maby some panda corrys. not sure what else if anything as had him in community before and had to take hime out.

ps should i keep feeding him as normal when meds are in

If he is still eating i don't see any reason to stop.

Not really sure what else he could live with... I only had Corys and shrimp with my Betta so can't recomend anything else.

hes still not swimming as much as he used to after two treatments. he seems a litle more active and hes still eating as normal. swims around when were near the tank. dont no what else it could be. there was a few bubles in the tank the other day so thing he might have been having a go at a nest.

Unfortunitly one of the shrimp escaped from the community tank. we just found him on the floor.
