I have one male betta. he is at the top of the tank, he takes in some air turns his head and deposits it at the side of the tnk, hes been doing this for about an hour. Is he making a nest and hoping a female will pop along? should i try not to accidently destroy the bubble pile? :good: also he gets angry when other fish get too close to it

Hey there!
It's a nest, without a doubt. He will keep doing this from time to time. It's totally normal by the way.
It's the form for you to see when a male betta is ready for breeding.
And if the nest is big/huge he can be overprotected with it, that also normal.
Cheers!
