Betta Mad At What Age?

I hope no one takes this the wrong way i was just interested to see what ages people are in the Betta hobby, i mean i'm 22 and my friends think i'm nuts because i'm Betta mad - am i the only one lol

Well, do you mean like when we started or how old we are now? I had 5 betta when I was 7 years old. Im 17 right now and unfortunately I am beginning to lose interest.

That age you are now would be good as alot of people probably had betta when they were little.

Well, guess who's in the 31-35 age group? Actually, I turn 31 tomorrow, but why delay the inevitable? And I wouldn't classify myself as "Betta mad", though I did have as many as 10 at a time, but now it is just down to lone fish, and the madness has left, and we're left at a sort of "Betta mildly enthused" level. I am still crazy about the one little guy I have, so that counts a little, right?

I'm turning 16 this Sunday.
I only have 5; I got my first last year.
So I was 15 when I started
I am addicted to 'em, LOL. I hopefully will get a new one sooner or later; if I could I'd have soo many, but my parents don't think that's a good idea, LOL!

I started about 3 years ago and got MTS in a bad way, my friends at work think I'm nuts travelling all over the country to go to LF's to see what they have or worse still having aquatic plants or even fish (sometimes eggs) delivered to work

Luckily my husband is great, although he does complain that I spend more time with the fish than I do with him
