I'm just wondering how long Betta fish typically live. How old is the oldest Betta on this forum just for curiousity sake.

I had my first beta for 5 years, most of mine have been 3 years though.

My oldest betta (Big blue) live for 8 years! And I bred him for 5 of those years (yes I know, 5 years is a little old to be breeding at, but I think that's why he lasted so long lol) Generally most of my bettas last 3-4 years, my oldest one currently is 2 years.

That is sad, I had a veiltail live for 4 yrs also.

Say your Nemo and Buster what kind of betta would you call those??
