Betta Jumped Out Of Tank

The betta is doing great now! He's making bubble next again. I put some sand in the tank.. i dont know if that is dangerous for it. He eats all the food I feed it now, compared to before i got the heater... it was 68 F most of the time. The fins are starting to grow back as well.. With the tank cover I made it's impossible for him to jump out :D

You'd be surprised you know! Not to scare you or anything. But really, you'd be surprised ;)
I heard sand can cause issues with bettas? (Since it's so small and grainy?) But you seem to be taking good care of him. I think sand could cause constipation so I'd watch for that. I have no proof but, just heard around. Good luck with him, great to hear he's better :)

i dont think they solie live in buffalos foot prints

they mainly live in rice paddies and rice paddies are constantly wet so theres puddles

Hi bae1994 :)

For more insight into this check out Coryologist's interview with Mark Denaro. There's an interesting story about bettas in Vietnam. It's around 5 1/2 or 6 minutes into the podcast, right after the part about basic betta care. Here's a link:
