Betta Heart Attack?

I let my female out of its glass chimney in the breeding tank. After about 5 minutes of chasing around the female started jumping frantically! After a couple jumps, the female just laid there like it was dead. I took the female out and 15 minutes later, its still "dead" Is she dead? What happened

she could have knocked her self out by hitting the top of the aquarium. you should be able to tell if she is dead, is she stiff?

yes she's stiff, couldn't hit the top of the aquarium. its in a 10 gallon less than half full. and i was watching the whole time

She probably died from stress.

if the eyes turn white then she is dead.
yea it was probably stress then. or it could have been a very old betta and she just couldnt handle the stress of the male.
