Betta & Ghost Shrimp

I have a 3 gallon Eclipse that I'm going to put a male betta in untill my 10 gallon is set-up. Will Ghost Shrimp be ok in with him? Should they go in before him? and how many would be ok? Thanks

I'm no expert on shrimp but as far as the betta goes in a 3 gal i wudnt have him with anything, and i'm not sure but i think shrimp need very good water conditions.

I hope someone can come along with a better answer for you but to me i think 3 gals would only hold the betta

shrimp add virtually NO bioload to the water so it would be fine to add a few.

I was trying to get some ghost shrimp from my LFS but they struggled to source it,.Not sure if its the same where you are like.

Thanks, I used to be able to find them at all of the LPS/LFS but now they are only at one or two of them.

I can't find them anyway local and the only place that may get them do fish for absolutely extortionate prices.
