Betta Genetics?

I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me a hand in determining what my betta fry may turn out like? I know it can be very hard to tell, but I was just curious. The male is a black, shortailed betta and the female is red/black and just your average tail type.

sounds l;ike the boy is placket and the female is a vt probally a mix of both 25% plackets,, meaning boys with short tales and 75% vt long thin tales,,, over all fins migh be a little shorter

have you got any pictures as this would make is so much easier to say what they would be

If you have PK and VT then probably a mix of roundtails and VT's but Daz is right, picks would help allot more

personally that guy is gorgous and i would rather get him a placket girl that was black,, but red might be pretty too,, she looks stressed out thought so her colors are probally not at her best.
