Hello all,

I have like ten or so betta fry in a 2.5 gallon tank, and I would like to move them to a ten gallon I have conditioned for them. They are about one and a half days old, and some of them are already free swimming, while others are not. So, how do I go about changing them from the small tank into the larger, and when should I do it? Any suggestions would help.

Thanks
Lakota

id wait till they are free swimming and a lil stronger.. net em up i guess...

i use a plastic cup... when moving fish... put water from old tank in plastic cup with them... let plastic cup float for awhile... add lil by lil water from new tank.. then let em go

I wouldnt move them for until they are at least 2 weeks old.
Fry cant tolerate big changes, and unless you want to loose alot of all of them I would wait.
But then again, im sure other ppl have moved them and they lived im sure, depends on what risk you want to take.

Good luck
